NOTICE OF IMMEDIATE SUSPENSION OF USE – IMMEDIATELY CEASE USE OF POTENTIALLY AFFECTED RIMS

In November 2023, we received a service notice from SRAM regarding potential issues with the shift brake levers and a recall for servicing them.

The issue may manifest in such a way that the lever, mounted with the tension specified by the manufacturer, is not tightened sufficiently. The cause is an excessive application of the locking compound on the thread of the mounting T-bolt, which consequently allows the shift brake lever on the handlebar to move. The user may lose control of the bicycle and fall.

We are informing you about the voluntary recall of Scott Speedster, Scott Speedster Gravel, and Scott Contessa Speedster Gravel 2022 bicycle models with aluminum forks.

On the mentioned bicycles, cracks were found on the forks during internal tests.

ZEFAL requests that you immediately stop using the affected bidons and return them to the store where you made the purchase.

SRAM is conducting a recall of forks for the purpose of replacing the lower legs (housing)

The affected forks are of these two models with serial numbers between 02T95514009 and 08T96214665 and lower legs (housing) marked with the casting label '18' and 'O' or '19' and 'A'.

The subject of this recall is brakes manufactured between June 1, 2014, and May 26, 2017
